Today

...the birds are chirpping, the air is warm, it's Cinco De Mayo and my photos are being featured on The Brides Cafe! Today is a fabulous day indeed. In light of all the wonderfulness today has already brought, I thought I'd post quite possibly the most delicious guacomole EVER made. This recipe was first introduced to me by my good friend Leyla and now, everyone, inculding myself is virtually addicted. I'm talkin I eat it, not even joking, every other day for lunch. Ya, it's a problem, but who cares? It's just sooo good! So, if your lookin for a laid back and delicious way to celebrate Cinco De Mayo, look no further. Enjoy!

The beauty of this dip, is that it is completely customizable. I couldn't even tell you the original way to make it, only the Ann way, which is totally irrelevant as I KNOW you will make it the (insert your name here)....way!

*3 avocados sliced
*heaping handful of grape tomatos, sliced into halves
*a quater of an onion, finely chopped
*a bunch of cilantro, finely chopped
*2 limes, sliced in half and squirted all over the dip (don't be shy with the lime)
*sea salt, to taste (i use way more than necessary)
*pepper, to taste (can you ever really have too much pepper?)

Mix everything together and viola! you have the Worlds Greatest Guac. As a personal preference, I like to use Tostitos Hint of Lime as my chip of choice. I'm a sour/salty kind of gal, so my choice of chip, lime and salt enhancements may not be for everyone, but if you like that sort of thing, this recipes for you!

I hope everyone has a Happy Cinco De Mayo!
And be sure to swing by The Brides Cafe!
