...my fancy as of late.
Clockwise from top left:
Narciso Rodriguez For Her (It's like a white floral meets an exotic Egyptian goddess. Perfect for warm, balmy summer days and nights);
Tom Ford Private Collection Tobacco Vanille (Uh, Tom Ford is a perfuming genius. Dark and warm and dead sexy. P.s. only the large 8 oz bottle is $500, mine is the smaller one and is actually $200, so don't get freaked out when you click on the link.)
Montale Paris Patchouli Leaves (my signature scent and the most amazing thing in the world! Not even exaggerating on any level, EVERYTIME I wear this, someone stops me to ask what it is and where they can buy it. Of course, the moment I say the name and that you can purchase it at the Scent Bar or on Luckyscent.com, they immediately "shut down" cause its not a commercial fragrance with a familiar name. Oh well, more for me!!);
Prada Amber (a truly gorgeous "throwback" era perfume. When I wear this I feel like I just stepped into a scene from Midnight In Paris. Enough said.
A birthday gift from my favorite jewelry designer, Leyla of
Frida and Marilyn. This is by far, hands down, my favorite necklace I own. Leyla custom made it just for me and absolutely everything about it screams me. All of her jewelry is absolutely gorgeous and you MUST check it out. You WON'T be disappointed you did :)
Morning Star Incense in Rose.
My favorite incense that I burn all day everyday. Whenever someone comes into my house, after I've burned this lovely aroma, I always get told how wonderful it smells.
Parisian Chic, A Style Guide by Ines de la Fressange.
A little too perfect of a gift from one of my best friends Stacy Jacobsen. I have been obsessed with all things Parisian and the art of being Parisian and then this little number shows up on my door step. The funny part is, she had no idea of my current obsession! It was like FREAKISHLY dead on. She said she came across it in Anthropologie and said if anyone can be Parisian chic, it's Ann. A compliment and a lovely book, that's one fabulous combo!
Current obsession. To be drank all day, everyday, apparently. I make mine with Almond Milk, so I don't overload on the dairy ;)
The best gift I've ever received. My hubby made this for my birthday and let me tell you, it was just a wee bit awkward when I was reading it at the
Inn of The Seventh Ray (my favorite restaurant, ever.), bawling my eyes out while people pretended not to notice. James wrote this book from Gavin's perspective, and it's just the sweetest thing I've ever seen. I don't deserve such a wonderful family. Really, I don't :)
These are just a few of my favorite things.
Hope you all have a very WONDERFUL weekend!
